Part 1
I, Butch Rawls, dba Mountain Trails Outfitters,
hereafter referred to as the outfitter, agree to take ___________________,
hereafter referred to as the client, on a guided/drop ________ hunting
trip that will begin on __________ and end on_________. Total
fee
for the service provided will be $_______, payable in two payments.
A deposit of _______, (1/2 of the total) upon execution of this
contract,
and the balance _______, two weeks before departure date of the trip.
( personal checks will only be accepted for payments made to
the outfitter
at least 30 working days prior to the departure date. Payments made
within 30 days of , or on the departure date will be cash or
certified
funds.) Mountain Trails Outfitters books hunts on a first come first
served basis , this contract is in no way binding on the outfitter
until the deposit is received. Deposits are not refundable but are
transferable to another party within the same season .
Part 2
The Outfitter Agrees to:

Hold a registration (license #954) to provide
outfitting services in Colorado
Be bonded and fully insured

Hold a special use permit to operate on public
lands
-
Send client a suggested list of clothing and
personal effects necessary for the trip, regulations, maps, any
necessary applications or forms pertaining to the trip.

Provide suitable field transportation to and
from trail heads.
-
Provide riding stock, pack stock, tack,
and basic horsemanship instruction.
-
Provide adequate camping gear and equipment,
in a reasonable state of repair, necessary to operate a safe and
comfortable camp.

Follow standard health and safety procedures
in setting up and operating the camp.
-
Provide proper care of capes, hides, and meat
in the field and transportation of same to a processing facility
( any cost of processing is the responsibility of the client)
Part 3
The Client Agrees To:

Accept and abide by the provisions of this
contract.

Purchase license(s) as well as apply for any
necessary validations for this hunt.

Be in good enough physical condition to be
able to hunt the area and the game involved. The mountains
are rugged and are at very high altitude so being able to breathe
and walk helps in getting desired game.

Honestly advise the Outfitter of any kind of
physical limitations which could adversely influence the Clients
enjoyment of the hunt. Such limitations might be special dietary
requirements, injuries, allergies or some other type of health
or weight condition.

Bring an adequate amount of gear, but not an
excessive amount.

Bring no alcoholic beverages.

Be pleasant to others in camp. Show good sportsmanship
and handle all weapons and equipment in a safe and reasonable
manner.

Notify Outfitter of any cancellation immediately.
Deposits will be non-refundable but can be transferred to a person
you find to take your place in the same year contracted. Be sure
to send notification in writing.
Notification Concerning Horses
Under Colorado Law, an equine professional is not
liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities
resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to
Section 13-21-119, Colorado Revised Statutes.
